Hey Steve? You there? Huh? are you actually reading this? Thanks to your little comment on the blog last week, here I am doing the freaken show notes! Hope your happy cause you sure as hell know that I'm over the fucking moon sitting here cutting and pasting links to the articles that really, if you listen to the know you would know pretty much all come from the age, marketing mag, mashable and utalkmarketing (no I am not linking to all those sites, you can get off your ass and work them out yourself!). So thank you "Steve", were it not for you I could right now be outside enjoying the sunshine, instead I am here.. HOPE YOUR HAPPY! (but really thanks for the comment, we really appreciate it)

Like the podcast but disagree about Google side wiki.

I'm not a fanboy but don't you think people decide to subscribe to the "counter opinions" channel that is side wiki by installing it? They can already see these alternate points of view elsewhere so all side wiki gives them is context.

Bullying is usually done by the stronger against the weaker. I think side wiki works against the bullies who have PR monsters and marketing mega-budgets and gives little people a more convenient back channel.

Of course big business could just trash talk their enemies on side wiki but negative campaigns usually only work for very short time-frames and backfire in the long term.

I think you have a good point Chris. For a company like Phillip Morris (which for some reason I cant get the sidewiki to work on) it doesnt take much to find people hating on a mulinational cigarette manufacturer just by googling them, but for a small business it could hurt them quite a bit. Of course that would require the side wiki application proliferating to the point where everyone uses it which I think is unlikley.

I'm still interested to see what google will do about defamatory comments, which reminds me I should go vandalise karl stefanovic's site highlighting the fact that he is in fact a robot sent from the future. :)
